Herno was founded by Giuseppe Marenzi and his wife Alessandra Diana in Italy in 1948.
At first the company focussed solely on developing and perfecting “the raincoat”, while studying other fabrics and materials that later on enabled the firm to diversify its range of coats.
In 1970 Herno gained great prestige in the fashion world thanks to being contracted to produce items for top-level brands like Hermes, Louis Vuitton and others.
